Statewide Campaigns
Oregon works on a biennium, meaning there is only a legislative session once every two years instead of every year. Last year was a legislative year, which makes this an “off” year, but there is going to be a supplemental session in February, as well as a special election in January.
This year, we are working with OSA to gather information on which student issues we should tackle next year during the legislative session. Did you know that you belong to the Oregon Student Association, and that you pay $1.10/term to have us advocate for you on a statewide level? We've made a list of ten student issues we feel we can effectively work on during the 2011 Oregon legislative session, and it is important for us to know which of these issues you, as a student we represent, want us to work on. The three OSA boards have narrowed down issues to ones that are possible to tackle, please fill one out!

We are also working on issues closer to home, including:
-Voter registration
-Voter education surrounding the Special Election in January (more information coming soon!)
